BETHLEHEM WOMEN ACTIVE FOR CHRIST

Bethlehem Women Active for Christ is an organization made up of young and old women alike with the primary purpose of actively supporting missionary endeavors. During monthly meetings, BWAC coordinates support of Free Will Baptist International Missions, Home Missions, Operation Christmas Child, nursing home ministry, and meals to families in the church during times in need.

The group develops fellowship among the women of the church through a "Secret Sis" program. Participants leave anonymous gifts for their "Sis" throughout the year and pray for that individual regularly.

As a part of the larger Cumberland District Women Active for Christ, the group sponsors two church-wide dinners each year where missions and fellowship are promoted to the church-at-large. The organization is also affiliated with Women Nationally Active for Christ, which coordinates the activities of similar women's groups nationwide and sponsors an annual conference in July.
